About Westmore

Built with Clinical Judgment. Designed Around Real Life.

Westmore Community LLC is an RN-led New Jersey DDD provider created to deliver adult supports that feel capable, personal, and connected to everyday life. We believe safety and clinical awareness should strengthen independence, not replace it. Our approach centers dignity, choice, meaningful relationships, practical skill-building, and participation in the community.

Our Mission

To provide person-centered supports that help adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities build independence, strengthen community connection, pursue individual goals, and participate in daily life with dignity, safety, and choice.

Leadership

RN-led from the start

Kawena Gayle, RN, BSN

Founder & Owner

Kawena Gayle is a Registered Nurse with more than nine years of progressive clinical and leadership experience spanning critical care, school nursing, specialized I/DD services, and developmental-disability program development. Her background includes complex medication management, seizure and feeding supports, emergency response, staff training and clinical supervision, regulatory compliance, and individualized healthcare planning. She founded Westmore to bring strong clinical awareness together with meaningful community participation, independence, and person-centered adult programming.

Camille Jadotte, RN, BSN

Executive Director

Camille Jadotte is a Registered Nurse and I/DD program leader with more than five years of direct experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including approximately three years in supervisory roles. She began her healthcare career as a Direct Support Professional and advanced into Lead DSP and floor-supervisory responsibilities before becoming a Registered Nurse. Her experience includes residential I/DD services, staff supervision, medication oversight, ISP and Positive Behavior Support implementation, nursing care, case management, and interdisciplinary coordination. She is also pursuing graduate preparation as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

Direct Support Team

Our direct support professionals are selected and trained to provide respectful, person-centered assistance aligned with each participant’s goals, safety needs, routines, and preferences. Team members are expected to support independence, communicate clearly, document accurately, and treat every participant as an adult with agency and individual interests.

Values

What guides our work

01

Dignity

Adults are supported as adults, with privacy, respect, and meaningful choice.

02

Choice

Participants are active partners in how they spend their time and pursue their goals.

03

Safety

Clinical awareness, staff preparation, and clear procedures support safe participation without turning the program into an institution.

04

Community

Real life happens outside program walls. Community connection is part of the work, not an occasional extra.
